Classic Romance (2009) is a pure classical album, on which the Echo-Klassik winner dealt with his favorite composers of classical romantic music. It was very important to David Garrett to record a pure classical album in order to present the beauty of this music to his many fans: “Classical music is always the basis for everything I do. It also served as an inspiration for my own interpretations of Michael Jackson and AC / DC ". In addition to Mendelssohn's violin concerto, the album also includes pieces by Schubert, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, some of which he rearranged and which he has arranged with the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin recorded with Andrew Litton conducting.
